Connection is an integral part of healing. Emilie’s French Teas is a French tea room located inside Centered Spirit that provides an inviting, communal space to connect with a friend or simply reconnect with yourself while sipping a soothing cup of tea.
Whether you wish to relax following a treatment or seek a comforting escape from your usual routine, the tea room is a peaceful and quiet place where everyone is welcome.
When creating their exquisite tea room, Emilie and Alex wanted to re-create the delightful atmosphere of the tea rooms that Emilie used to enjoy visiting with her mother while growing up in her native France. Offering an international flavor in the heart of Kansas City, much of the decor and wall portraits pay homage to the many countries where Emilie and Alex have traveled together, ranging from visits to some of the finest tea rooms in Paris to picking organic green tea in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Tea Shop and Wellness Events
Treat yourself to your favorite teas in the comfort of your own home! Emilie’s French Teas & Tea Room includes a specialty tea shop featuring fine teas that can be purchased by the ounce or by the tin. We also offer a variety of teaware and accessories that make beautiful, thoughtful gifts.
As Centered Spirit’s Wellness Director, Emilie hosts classes and private tea parties upon request and loves sharing her passion for tea. Please don’t hesitate to stop by and ask her about tea and wellness classes.
