Intro to Limpias - Tools of Curanderismo

Limpias are a very important part of Traditional Maya Medicine and Curanderismo (the art of Mexican Folk Healing)

A Limpia is similar to a spiritual cleansing - using elements such as water, plants, incense, and intention to remove negative vibrations or emotion from a persons energy and bring in the positive.

During this workshop you will learn many forms of Limpias that you can use at home. We will have practive time in class.

Alex Jackson LMT, NCTMB is a Holistic Health Practitioner, specializing in Traditional Maya Medicine, Maya Abdominal Massage and teaches the Awareness is Healing method and Yamuna Body Rolling. He has almost two decades of experience in treating chronic and acute health conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, digestive, reproductive, musculoskeletal, and anxiety issues. He is co-owner of Centered Spirit – Cultural & Holistic Center.
