About the Event
Empowering, accessible and fun! This one hour yoga class is designed to ground students in their bodies, quiet their minds and give them a tool for healing and coping with day to day stressors. This class will be a beginner level allowing students to learn asanas to deepen balance and strength, pranayama to connect mind and body and meditation to learn how to self soothe, navigate stress and center the spirit.
The primary focus will be for kids and young adults who may have special social and/or physical challenges that call for a more purposeful, steady and gradual approach to learning yoga principles. The overall goal is to teach skills to take off of the mat and create a supportive, fun environment to learn in.
Students may bring their own mat or use one at the center. Please arrive 10 minutes early and sign up here class is limited to 10 students so please sign up. I am asking for a minimum donation of $10 per class - you may bring cash or check or pay via Venmo to @Lindsay-Ridder
